Which modifications do you mean There are no "THE modifications".

I assume you talk about making the cymbal tunable. Where do you have the
instructions from

Are you sure that you have split the traces at IC25 pin 13 correctly

Did you compare the signal from the IC25 pin 13 with the signal of your
clock oscillator on a scope
