the only thing I did was short the tracks that arrive at the ic 23 pin 10 and the ic24 pin9  to send the new clock. . Then the detuning sounds very ugly.

Where from do you have this "instruction"   Doing this short is complete nonsense (ok, some circuit benders will think "ha ha! this sounds funny", but it really doesn't make any sense).

This is like taking a power drill and drill a hole somewhere in your computer, just because "it is a modification".

Is there another way to do it

Still it is not clear: WHAT do you want to do And FROM WHERE do you have the instructions (please provide a link to the document)
