When I got my first 707 (off eBay) it had a hard-
wired wall wart which was a flaky job. A little tug on the cable reset the unit, which drove
me nuts. Did you replace the power connector yet
You don't need to use a PCB mount
one, the chassis-mount types are way more durable, if you have room to install it. Should
be room just above where the original was.
