Hi
Had similar problems myself when i first got my 707, youve probably
got a problem with the batteries not giving the internal memory any power.
this was my experience:

Try having a look inside to make sure theres no corrosion or broken
wires around the battery contacts.
I wouldnt imagine this will help you with regards to the sounds that
arent working. However, i did buy a 505 which had a problem with one
Tom sound not hitting but afer doing a factory reset all was well. You
might want to try resetting the 707 if you havent already.
To do a factory reset you hold down TRACK WRITE + TRACK 1 while you
turn on the unit.(if you didnt know already)
Hope this helps.
Goodluck,
Ciaran.
