I picked up a universal AC Adapter, make/model: Jensen JEN500 and it
works perfectly.
It is voltage-selectable up to 12V, 500mA (anything above what the
707 needs is OK). The white-colored tip (it comes with 6 different
sizes) fits the 707. Polarity is selectable based on the direction
you plug the tip in...yes, negative center(tip) is required. If you
configure the adapter for a positive center(tip) the unit will not
power up. I tried it.
