Dismantling the pot to give it a clean is as far as I've gone, so, no
I've not actually tried to repair it.
I've just measured the resistance of the gangs:
one works normally - 0 to 50KOhms,
the other is an open circuit, so I guess I'd have to find out where
the "break" is and bridge it.
- Any suggestions you might have about the best repair technique would
be gratefully received.
