In principle a modular sequencer with separate units for gate/trigger rows
and CV outputs is not a real challenge for us as it's very similar to the
A-155. But I think it is necessary also to discuss the mechanical solution
for such a sub-system as this the critical part from my point of view. So
far the mechanical construction of the A-100 is based on the 3U height and
all modules are 3U. For separate gate/trigger and CV units we'll need very
long horizontal devices (16 switches, sockets or controls in one row) that
do not fit so far to the mechanical concept of the A-100.
And I hope that nobody expects that each poll with good positive results
will be realized. The number of polls with positive results exceeds our
possibilities by far.
