Though long horizontal modules would be an optimum, also the solution of
the A155 (two rows of eight switches) is possible; and also something
like two vertical rows of eight switches could be a possible solution.

My suggestion also is not written in stone. I could imagine 8-step
modules too, which can be cascaded.
