Tom,
I have good news for you. We have a module arrangement with 220 mA current
consumption connected to the A-100 miniature power supply/bus (with larger
heat sinks) for two days and the temperature of the heat sinks is much less
than 70 degrees. The modules are built into a "beauty case". From the next
production series the A-100 miniature power supply/bus will be manufactured
with the new heat sinks to obtain 200mA max. current (to be on the safe side
we will guarantee only 200mA, even if probably 250 mA would work as well).
For existing A-100 miniature power supplies the heat sinks can be replaced
very easily.
We expect the first batch of the DIY power supply #1 early in March. The low
cost version with two 12V wall outlet power supplies will be available about
one month later.
Best wishes
