I was debating not mentioning the wrong photo. I don't think that's significant at all and
the Doepfer.de site points out it's an old photo anyway.
Let me get to what I think is significant.
Dieter -
Thanks again for your info. I was just trying to point out that (prior to your post to this
list) I saw no online info about the 650mA rated PSU2. So I was initially puzzled by it
because it doesn't say either 1200mA or 650mA on it and the web had no info it existed.
Shawn-
Were you aware that there are PSU2s (not NT12s) that are built to deliver 650mA rather
than the well documented 1200mA
I wasn't aware until I realized the PSU2 (not NT12) in my just sold G3 case was a 650mA
unit rather than 1200mA PSU2.
Everyone-
I just thought it was useful info to know that some PSU2s are 1200mA units and some are
650mA. Previously I had assumed they were all 1200mA.
As Dieter pointed out, it's the round transformer that is 1200mA rated. The "Power Supply
II" written on the board would not be the determining factor.
(P.S. for anyone reading this, the G3 case I posed for sale the other day has been sold --
not that there was anything wrong with it, it's because I bought a portable case and didn't
need a G3 at this time.)
