I spoke to Santa. Most of the suggestions would be no problem in principle.
Most of them are simple and not really challenging from the technical point
of view. For DIYers no problem (except the A-190 software modification).
How about polls I'd like to change the polls a bit: "Would you buy ....".
The present question "Would you like to release ..." seems to be not the
right question. In the past past we had some modules with 70% and more "yes"
acceptance but the sales were very poor.
Our main problem is to find out if there are really sufficient inquiries
(finally it means orders) for a certain module. Otherwise we are not able to
keep the prices as low as usual.
For the aux send module and the five way inline attenuator I have these
comments: This contradicts a bit to the A-100 concept with an attenuator at
(nearly) each audio and CV input. We decided to add the attenuators at the
inputs but not at the outputs (with some exceptions for modules that may be
used as the final module like VCA or mixer). And there only very few
applications where one would need a separate attenuator in the A-100 (e.g.
A-132-1 Dual VCA).
6HP instead of 8HP: The standard module layout (e.g. A-120, A-130, A-138
...) cannot be reduced to 6HP. 6HP are not sufficient to mount a socket next
to a rotary knob/potentiometer. Only if the sockets are above or below the
knob 6HP are possible.
Best wishes
