i would agree with you regarding the audio path, but i think being
able to route one lfo, or an auxiliary envelope (or even an oscillator
for some everywhere-fm) to all those unattenuated cv inputs - thereby
obviating the need for several only half-used mixers
- would be of great advantage. could it even be passive

i can imagine th a138 would be pretty hard to get smaller :) but i was
thinking more of the lfo's, slew limiters, freq dividers and such. but
please, no sockets above the knobs !! i have my a119 external inputs
mounted upside down in the rack :)
