you can sample with the trigger button or the gate
input.
first of all, set the three switches correctly:
top switch in S1 or S2. middle switch to rec mode.
bottom switch to normal mode.
then:
while monitoring input (with sampler in rec mode) you
set up the input evel with the input knob (atten), and
you set the sampling frequency with the tune knob. so
if you want the best possible quality (and the less
possible recording time of course) you juts set the
tune knob in 'ten' position. then you r3ecord your
input by pressing the 'man trig' button.
then you swith the middle swith to 'play' mode. now
you can trigger your recorded sample with the trigger
button (or the gate input socket). now you can set the
tune of the playedbak sample with the tune knob (and
its cv input).
simple as that.
btw, the a112 is a great module. i have 3 of them and
use them very often. with the correct patching, you
can set-up a feedback loop and use it as a low-fi
digital delay that sounds great, not clean, but great!
(for me at least).
thanks,
Bakis.
