amen brother, are you still taking suggestions for the revision
i do not know how to program software, but i would like to beta test
it for you as well. it's sitting in the closet doing nothing while
awaiting some sort of upgrade or things to change.
i am using an MPC 3000 to do long notes and song writing right now
and use a midi2cv to my A100. i also record the MAQ's midi output
into the MPC as well, to do away with its limited memory and avoid
the unnecessary program changes to link patterns together. plus you
can edit the patterns from the MAQ in the MPC and add tranpositions
effortlessly. i also use the 909 synced to the MPC as a divide down
clock source from the rim shot output to control eg's and the A155 in
my A100 system to get different rhythmic time patterns while being in
sync to the bars and start point. i do this in realtime and again
record the rimshot patterns back into the MPC further editing. you
can also use the MAQ to do drum style patterns into the MPC.
regards,
RM
