yes - this is a good idea! maybe mr. doepfer could design a modular
matrix mixer with a 4te input module (eg with 4 inputs) and 16te units
with 2 outputs and the ability of chaining them together:
eg: 1xinput + nxoutput= 4x2n matrix
so you are able to upgrade the matrix mixer to one needs easily.
i would just prefer a 4x4 matrix with a straightforward matrix design
(pots in the crossoints of every in/out combination) because in a live
situation i don't want to think about routing within the matrix...
