You probably misunderstood something. Of course there will be support, but
not for the customers assembly but only for the DIY board. This is why we
are about to modify the board for the usage of dual row pin headers (like
the A-100 bus connectors) so that dual row female connectors with ribbon
cables can be used to connect all potentiometers, switches, LEDs, sockets
and no on. In this case no soldering at the DIY synth board is necessary and
it can be disconnected very easily from the customers assembly for service.
In case that indeed the board is defective it can be sent in for repair by
disconnecting it from the customers assembly. We will have a test
environment that allows to check out very fast if the synth board is working
as it should or if there is a fault.
