We are about to design a A-16 - that will use a microcontroller instead of
a hard wired counter. That way different counting and reset types could be
programmed and selected by the user (e.g. counting up or down or up inverted
or down inverted or ... , immediate reset or reset at next clock pulse,
advance to next step at the falling or rising edge of the clock signal).
