I tested and couldn't detect a difference between the channels. I also tryed an
old Roland BF-2 Flanger and the results were even worse, square wave
"jumps" were completely rounded off. I don't detect much lag controlling an
A-145, so I'm going to assume different devices respond differently. If I need
sudden shifts I'll stick with my Effectron or A-188-1.

Vactrols have a fairly high range of tolerance and in a single batch their may
be ones that respond quite differently than others in the same bag. Do both
channels in the module respond the same The slewing in vactrols is part of
their "charm" and won't be easily gotten away from I'm afraid but some do
