Thanks for responding. I read the suggestion about the JP6 jumper and checked out the Dark Energy technical information PDF, and I'm afraid that is out of my expertise at this point (the DE is my first foray into anything modular/semi-modular).

The sound is almost never an issue because it is so quiet, but I was just wondering if there was a step I was missing in the process of silencing the VCO. But it sounds like this is just the normal functioning of the synth so I'll work around it. Thanks again for your suggestions!
