Some short time with your script I downloaded this afternoon at 14.40 CET
(13.40 UK time).
Audio seems to be coming out around a tuning pot position between 5 and 8.
So it seems adaptive but I don't see too much difference from the one
before.
I used 8 bit samples with different sample frequencies first one coming out
at around 5.5, which was a 8 bit 16kHz sample.
Second one came out just under pot position 8. That was an 8 bit sample
with a 44.1kHz sample rate.
Mind you this was all done at a quick pace... after midnight.
