At one point Doepfer was offering mini-to-phone (1/8" to 1/4")
patch cables, for free if I remember correctly.
I use a stamdard 1/4" patch bay to connect audio and CV between my
A100 and various 19" rack modules. It works very well. There's a
picture of the setup in the photos section.
If you don't know how to solder, or are too lazy, you can always buy
the cables with the correct plug on each end, or use adapters.
I still think that Doepfer could make money by selling a 19" rackmount
patchbay with minijacks on the front. No one else produces such a
thing, but it would be great with an A100 and other small format
modular systems. I don't think this will happen, though.
