Hi Maex
Interesting stuff. How are your experiences with the audioselect
switches Isn't it to harsh swicthing the sound
I am planning some live-rack which will contain for each Audio-module an
addon module:
This module will duplicate all audio outputs and provide two audio
inputs which can be crossfaded. It would be much easier to implement it
with a switch instead of the crossfader.
The idea is, that is usually impossible to remove or add modules to a
signal path while playing live. With my dual-out/crossfaded-ins module
it could work like this:
---- = audible Signal
.... = Signal suppressed by crossfader
Step one: VCO feeds VCF
##### +-----------------------o #####
# # | | # #
#vco>--+ xfad--->vcf#
# # | . # #
##### + o #####
Step two: add Phaser to second out-path of VCO:
##### +-----------------------o #####
# # | | # #
#vco>>>+ xfad--->vcf#
# # | ######## . # #
##### +------#phaser#.........o #####
########
Step three: crossfade the VCF in to the phased signal:
##### +.......................o #####
# # | . # #
#vco>--+ xfad--->vcf#
# # | ######## | # #
##### +------#phaser#---------o #####
########
