I think you have hit the nail on the head. Sure you duplicate SOME
of the functionality with groups of other modules, but, to justify
the cost, one would really have to understand the Buchla 259 and how
it functions and what it is good for. Ultimately, it is the sound of
the module that I am after. Buchla 258 and 259 oscillators sound
amazing.
