hello thomas,
difficult question. do you want to use your modular mainly
as a synth or do you want to process external signals
can you give some details on the desired sound you want
to achieve you know, in a modular you can use the modules
in very different ways. if you have enough vco's and stuff,
then maybe modules like a136 or a196 are interesting for you.
the basic system 2 is a good starting point, but sometimes
it is better to set up your frame with your own selection
of modules. i recommend that you download all the manuals
from the doepfer site and read them. this will help you
choosing the right stuff for your applications.
best wishes
ingo
