I'm thinking about a very minimal initial purchase of a suitcase or rack
(undecided - probably suitcase). Primarily sound processing though adding
synth functions down the road. I'm trying to balance the initial purchase
items vs. the eventually full case. For instance, the quad items
wouldn't be entirely useful up front - but seems better to me down the
road. Then again - maybe someone can point out why the single version
modules would be best in the long run Maybe for mostly sound processing
- 1 or 2 LFO's and ADSR's are just fine - the quad versions taking up too
much space
Tentatively planning:
A-199: Ext In -
A-109: VCF and VCA handy initially - panning when system grows a bit
A-135: VC Mixer - I want this with the morph module down the road -
covers basic mixing up front.
A-180: Mult
A-136: Distortion/Waveshape
A-143-3: Quad LFO
A-143-2: Quad ADSR
Ok - so which filter The usual pushing through drum tracks, and then
also my other synths (prophet600, juno106, korg dss1), bass, and trumpet.
A-106-1: X-treme filter has caught my eye.
Adding a Ring Mod and Slew are also in mind. A fixed filter would also
be nice.
Feel free to point out what essential item I'm missing in the "initial"
list and also if there's something that wouldn't be needed initially that
I could wait on. Am I hurting things by not having a VCO up front
Thanks,
John K-N
