doepfer sold kits many years ago, not for modulars, but for
midi/cv interfaces. afaik they dropped selling these kits
because of bad experiences with "unskilled" users.

assembled doepfer modules are so cheap, i don't see
any sense in kits, they wouldn't be much cheaper.
one who can assemble a kit can also disassemble a
module for conversion imho, but thats just my personal
opinion, others may think different.
