hello richard,
i'd use additional modules which can divide by 3,
like the a160/a161 combination. or you could use
another gate sequencer locked to three steps.
also some frequency dividers can divide by 3,
like the a163 or the blacet fd2020.
there is a new a151 version available where the
number of steps can be selected with a switch.
also very interesting for that purpose is the a152.
