I think, a desk style housing than can hold one or several modules would be a very cute idea.
Additional we could have one or two modules that convert other signal levels (guitar, or DJ line levels) to the signal levels of the A100 modules and vice versa (also as connector adapters jack/cinch/minijack).
The powersupply might be a wall wart (not that easy for +/-12 V).

Synth users could use it for controler modules like theremin or joystick, DJs would use it with filters, ...
