hi _)_)
two things. first about the stand alone idea.
i've been wanting to make "pedals" out of modules for some time.
john blacet told me that it was not possible with a wall wart.
however some years ago a friend made a simple circuit for me to
convert a DC wall wart voltage in order to power a paia dual vca (+/-
15v.) i don't remember any details about the circuit. also, the a.
sol. "minimodular" uses a wall wart to drive it +/-12v modules.
it occurs to me a simple circuit which can invert the 12v or 15v DC
from a wall wart is all that's needed. if anyone knows where i
could locate a simple circuit to do this please let me know. you
can email me privately if you want.
also, 101-2 users, i understand that volume is not fully suppressed
in vca mode. about how much bleeds through just curious. it
seems like a really cool module.
thanks-tom
