Hey Nick,
I've been using the moniker grandpoohbah for years. When the Detroit Grand Pu Bahs
dropped their album, I was like Hey!!!, That's my name..... I got it from the Flintsotnes--
the Fraternal Order of the Water Buffalo... what ever, it's not the name I use professionally.
My friend had the Original Octave Cat. I briefly owned an SRMII, but it needed some work
and I never got around to fixing it, so it was sold for parts. It didn't sound as good as the
Original Cat.
Not familar with the A-1000 you're refering to. Is that the type of filter used or is the
2040 the filter The unstability was the best part. Not so great if the tuning needed to be
dead on, but, man could that thing Scream like a Banshee.
So I'd love to buy an Original Cat Filter for my Doepfer system!!
Cya,
Andrew
