What other way would you suggest? I could go back to using sysex to address the various synths but it's not very nice and not everything can handle sysex which is why I dropped it. I guess I could make a CC command to select the synth which would change the synth selected on the PE the same as using the menu buttons on the PE. You would still need to have the synths on separate midi channels or eveything would get very confused.
