Well is does say not to apply "V3" patches to a V2 PE.
It did not say "V3 and above" or "V3+".
But this is obviously a quibble.
I thought the V4 upgrade (since it was not mentioned, had resolved whatever the issue was with the V3 upgrade.
I also searched the forum and did not see anything about the OS upgrade.
My bad. Mistakes do happen.
(Well, at least now I know that I have a rev 2 PE...I had no idea)
I'll order my fancy upgrade CPU and be on my way.
