I have in BIG RED WRITING on the updates page that if you apply rev 3+ updates to a rev 2 PE it will stop working. You need the larger capacity cpu to cope with the larger program. This can be ordered at my cost price using the orders page. You will need to disassemble your PE to fit this but no soldering is required. You can try reapplying the rev 2 program but I suspect you have broken the firmware.
