P600 PE control as suggestion.. why?
Having my polysix fitted with the kiwisix and PE control support
started me to think and wonder about the possibility of PE control of
the P600. (Im also wondering abouth midi sysex/ PE control of an akai
vx-90 but thats another story). Because the P600 is also a great analog
polysynth and already midi fitted (early implementation though) would
this be possible? Probably some OS hacking has to be done or maybe even
computer modification to get proper PE midi control. However the most
welcome fix for the P600 would offcourse be to increase programming
parameter step rate (biggest flaw).
@Murray
Thanks for the parts offer, i think i have some busted logics in the
programmer board (panel). Theres no sound, computer seems ok and cems i
havent been able to test yet. Im busy getting the latest OS software rom
and diagnostic for it.
The logics are not obsolete hard-to-get parts but if i am in need of
other special parts ill let u know. When i get the p600 fixed here ill
use the mentioned PE template to try things out.
