So, are you saying that it is normal for the patch that is selected from the front panel at the time of import to populate all 99 presets of the MQ bank
B/c that is what is happening for me. I just got the synth, so I was sorta hoping to load ram&rom to midiquest for quick auditioning/naming of everything. Were you able to change patches from within MQ
I feel like something is wrong here.
The library would be very helpful/appreciated, if you don't mind. I'm using MQ 10 XL on OSX, btw.

I do not believe that Midiquest can change patch numbers in the Matrix-1000. The patch you select will be loaded to teh edit buffer. The best way is build an entire bank and send it to the synth. Then the patches will be where you want them.

I have turned Midi Echo off, but still when I try to load the patches/banks to my computer, it acts as if it is working, but when it is done, all of the patches that came to the computer are a "default" patch, without names.

Is there some special trick to make this work
Please, any advice might help.
