tried searching the list, but... i'll ask: is there a source for
707/727 rom chips out there, aside from, of course, a broken 707/727

that is to say, i'm aware that no-one has, afaik, managed to
unscramble the roms to, say, put new samples onto them, but has anyone
ever bothered to Copy them and sell them....to me!

it would sure be nice to have the 707 sounds in my 727 as well, but if
i ever found a broken 707 i think i'd just try to fix it....

all seems pretty unlikely, but who knows...
