i ´m new to this very nice group and i ´m working on the pitch mod too.
since ´i ´m a bit confused now about wich ic is the right one (ne555, lmc555) i give you both infos:

I bought a bunch a 555 chip and now i try to find the schematic of
cmos version... it is possible to draw me the schematic or send it
in the file room. I got no news from roland for the m64-c cartridge
and i still building my eprom burner for the 707. I keep u in touch
