I have sucsesfully made a 555. I got it working with my TR-505.
I am guessing that you have to have diffrent numbers of capasitators
for the diffrent sounds. The pitches for the diffrent sounds is not the
same. This is no problem to test out. What do you think, does the
resistance of the pot change this aswell.

and, when it comes to the pots i tried a log-pot instead of a lin-pot,
and i think it works better, the fine tuning in the higher freq's is
more easy. Have any one else tryed this out
