Ok. Well I'll describe what is happening the best that I can:

When I try to "get" Patch Bank 0 from the Matrix1000 in my MQ studio window, the program works normally. That gray window with the midi ports listed and progress bar at the bottom pops up, and it works for a little while, until it completes and gets the bank ("bytes received" for a Matrix1000 bank are about 27-28000).

Then the bank window appears, and there are 100 patches displayed, listed from 0 to 99,
and they're all named "BNK0:00" through "BNK0:99."

When I press a patch in MQ, the synth plays an audition note, but it is always the same patch, no matter which preset i select in MQ. The preset number on the front panel does not change either. If I change the preset manually (from the front panel), then all of the sounds in MQ become the preset that I changed to. If I press the button to show the patch's settings (edit window) in MQ, I can plainly see that they are all unique, so we know that MQ is receiving unique patch data.

Could the problem be then, that MQ is somehow failing to properly send program change messages I hope I have explained this well. Let me know your thoughts.
